Calling all chefs – do you want to spend the summer working at one of Bornholm’s best restaurants?
Do you want to experience the island at its most beautiful, and test your skills in a renowned kitchen?
You will use the very best local produce – some of which is sourced from our own kitchen garden and local environment – to create dishes that will have our diners talking for days and weeks after their visit. Together with our head chef, you’ll help develop our constantly evolving menus.
Welcome to Le Port – a renowned gourmet restaurant with the best view in Bornholm
Le Port serves classic, French dishes strongly inspired by Nordic cuisine. Here you will be working closely with our head chef, 1 trainee chefs, 1 chef and 2 kitchen porters.
You will spend most of your time cooking a la carte. We prepare all our food from scratch, and many of our ingredients are literally hand-picked by us.
Help us develop our menus
We change our menu every 10 days. If you’re up to it, you’ll have the chance to help our head chef develop these so that we can surprise our guests with amazing taste experiences.
You’ll enjoy working with great colleagues, under great working conditions
You will become part of a close-knit team, and as we all have dinner together in our stunning local area, you will quickly get to know your colleagues, both those in the kitchen and those working front-of-house.
The position is covered by collective agreement. You may be offered overtime, but it will be up to you whether or not to accept it. You will of course be paid for all the hours you work.

This is a seasonal position, meaning that you would be employed from 1 June until the middle of September. In other words, you’ll have the chance to experience Bornholm at its most beautiful. In your time off you’re free to enjoy city life and the beautiful island environment.
Trained chef capable of delivering to a high standard
- You are a trained chef, so you’re qualified to teach trainees.
- You may be newly qualified or experienced. The most important thing is that you love cooking high-quality food at a high pace.
- You need to speak either Danish or English.
