Nordic grill-restaurant & cocktailbar in Mo i Rana, Nordland, Norway.
We use a Josper charcoal-grill for the most of the food. Seasonable menues.
Primary a la carte, but also serving bigger groups and some catering.
Open 7 days a week, the kitchen is open from 11am to 10 pm on Monday-Saturday, and 2pm to 9:30 on Sundays
Number of employees: 20 in total, 4 chefs.
Job description: Working shifts (daytime, evenings, weekends) with the other chefs.
Being able to work in both warm (Josper Charcoal-grill) and cold section
Following orders from Head Chef/Sous Chef.
Influencing the seasonal menus with ideas and inspiration
Possibilites to rise in the ranks to future team leader/sous chef/head chef.
We can offer good economic terms (no monkey business!)
Skills:
Chef education and relevant working experience. In some cases a lack of chef education can be compensated by working experience
Good english skills, norwegian/swedish language is a plus
Passion for food and cooking
Hard working, systematic and reliable
High level of service
Good understanding of hygiene/IKS-routines and economical profitability (reduce of food waste)
Working hours and place of work: Shifts – daytime/evening/weekends
Daytime: 0900 – 1530
Evening 1500 – 2230
Start date: As soon as possible after 3rd of april
Salary: After agreement
